A student at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School called the local Child Abuse Hotline yesterday, requesting the aid of police S.W.A.T. teams, armored tanks, and the Ohio National Guard. The boy claimed that his pet bionic hamster had spanked him in front of his 4th grade class.
Melvin Sneedley, age 10, told the Child Abuse Hotline he was participating in a “demonstration speech”, when things went awry and the alleged spanking occurred.
The hamster, who is described as fuzzy, small, and hamstery-looking, is being sought for questioning regarding the incident. If you see or hear of any hamsters matching the description listed above, please contact the Piqua Police Department immediately. |
